The commercial that’s going to win all the awards

#AnAdvertADay #Day39

Well, when the ad maestro Piyush Pandey himself casts a magical spell on a campaign, it doesn’t come as a surprise that the entire nation was moved.

This one’s a commercial that’s bound to sweep all the awards. It’s so insightful that it’s almost scary. Scary in the sense that the makers of the ad seem to directly speak to you than to a general audience.

The casting is flawless and the script, exemplary. This four minute video builds up like a story that doesn’t reveal the product right until the end. When you see it, you know that there couldn’t have been a simpler connect.

Watch. Weep. Repeat.

  1. I am not one of those who will post comments. But this one is truly a very touching commercial. The moment I saw her, I could relate her to my dadi. I remember she used to cook kadi for me. Often, I will skip my breakfast while rushing to school and she will wait for hours at the main door waiting for me to come back so that she could make me try it. The expressions on her face when I used to love it. That was true happiness. Sad part is I could never spend enough time with her when she was alive because of my studies. Damn I miss her. Love you DADI !!
Between, Nice concept, amazing acting and great direction.

    1. Excellent ,Heart touching & Heart warming commercial. It is a Winner! We all can relate to this. Brought tears !

  3. I just could not control my tears. This is one of the best example to witness “Feelings, love, attachment, tolerability that a mother has” God may please bless with mercy at all the times and healthy recovery with such touch of love.

  4. ha-ha, people seems to love an ad that goes against medical advice. Do this and you might actually kill somebody…while the agency and the client laughs all the way to the bank – I can even hear the clink of their glasses #funny#advertising#people

    1. okay, so what makes you think that home-made food can actually kill someone? try being funny or cool? and it’s agencies job to advertise and sell their product (if you know so) and apart from that why don’t you just concentrate on the emotions they’re trying to convey. Neither you seem to be creative nor emotional. Build up your emotions and then watch such kind of videos.
oh, by the way those hash tags does not make you sound cool.
      peace :))

    2. Poor you, it seems you never had good home cooked food. Trust me I have gone through this phase and nothing is more healthy than simple home cooked food.

  5. Dear Friends,
The precious things more than diamonds gold in the world are the feelings, love and care for each other. Rest all are mere illusion.
Love, respect and care for each other. World will be a heaven.

  6. no hospital ive worked or been to has ever been this strict about outside food. In fact it was allowed in almost all of them

  7. Ads are supposed to sell dreams, not nightmares. I wouldn’t like any of my family or friends to go through the situation that the young man is in – even if it means not buying the product being advertised.

  8. No doubt about the advertisement shown, butifully crafted….however this add is liked by us only bcoz we “d Human beings” r emotional enough to b touched, and d talent of d team behind dis add did it very nicely….and dis is d only reason y advertisement industry in India has good market hold in terms of career n revenue…

  9. we indian are full of edible emotion…..anybody can read us……and take advantage,,,,,,,,, usually punjab di dal mein to ghar ka ghee ka tadka hota hai……

  10. While he has assuaged the commoner’s emotion, Piyush himself may not consume this oil but be perfectly be okay with his single malt ! In a maze of incoherent ad clips that deluge the market today and possibly cause nothing, this video has packed lot of acceptable sense.

  11. Hey there this is kind of of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have
to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding experience so
I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
