#Day12 – How media failed women

The Representation Project is a movement that uses film and media content to expose injustice created by gender stereotypes and to shift people’s consciousness towards change.

This is a short case film that they released projecting how the media, as always, have been objectifying women in various forms. This issue is one that we all realise and are a part of but have nothing to do about it. We are the consumers of this very media that shows women in bad light.

The film is based on articles and news by some of the most popular media channels and personalities. It sticks to the point right from the beginning and proves it via relevant, hard-hitting examples.

Take a look at the video.
